Alexandre Herchcovitch at NY Fashion Week

Yesterday afternoon I went and sat front row at the Alexandre Herchcovitch runway show for New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The Fall 2008 collection was amazing - with a series of all black pieces showcasing varying textures, a set of more patterned and dizzying, flowing pieces, and some bright, block-printed dresses. The shoes looked difficult to walk in, with an extra spike at the end of every booted heel, but I have to admit, I fell in love with the teal blue ones shown below and if I could pull them off (or afford them for that matter) I'd die to wear them every day. For that matter, I'd love to wear all the luxuriously glam pieces that waltzed by me yesterday. I heart this collection.

Oh and by the way, Niki Taylor was next to me front row, with all of the contestants from her reality show Make Me A Supermodel

and across the way were some noticeable MisShapes faces.

And then afterward, as I was leaving, I spotted Agyness Deyn crossing the street heading toward the tents, practically unnoticed by every other person around her.
