Tonight was the showing for Lutz & Patmos Fall 2008 collection at the New Museum. Tina and Marcia are the designers who create beautiful, simple, high-quality sweaters and knitwear. For this collection, they added more colors than their designs have had in the past, but none of it is over-the-top bright and in your face. It's all very demure and classy - as classy as a very simple sweater design can get I guess. For their celebrity co-design, something they do each collection, they teamed up with Kirsten Dunst to create a simple, sweater mini with a blend of wool and alpaca. It's incredibly soft, but looks and feels more substantial than just cashmere by itself.
