Well it hasn't been long here, but I've already moved on to a bigger, better place. I finally took the leap - with Tom's help - to get a wordpress blog up and running on www.merbmerb.com.
As of right now, all of the blog posts have been transferred to www.merbmerb.com/blog but I'm still working on the formatting. It looks incredibly basic as of this posting, but I promise, it will be getting much, much better over the course of the next few days.

On Sunday I met up with some great guys, the band If But When so that I could take a few promo photos of them for future use. They've got a terrific sound and definitely deserved some worthy photos to represent them.
They picked me up at my place and we wandered down near the water and the old Domino Sugar factory on Kent Ave. for some fun inductrial set-ups. It turned out to be an ideal area, with lots of different backgrounds to work with.

So February was beard month in my apartment - not for me, but for the 3 boys I live with at least. Unfortunately, Tom doesn't have the capacity to truly grow a full-on beard like the other hairy fellas in the place. So after a few days, he gave up and went for a moustache instead. Comedy ensued. The ceremonial shaving of the moustache had to be documented with a portrait project and I've started to assemble a few montages of the pictures I took.
